OPERA SELECTED FOR NINTENDO DSi

Oslo, Norway - October 3, 2008 - Opera Software today announced that
Nintendo Co., Ltd. of Japan has selected Opera Software to provide the
Web browser for its dual-screened, Wi-Fi-enabled and portable Nintendo
DSi gaming console. This relates to the Oslo Stock Exchange announcement
of December 28, 2007. The Nintendo DSi is expected to start shipping in
November 2008 in Japan and rest of the World in 2009.

Opera Software has received a large portion of the development fees and
will receive license fees in accordance with the agreement between Opera
and Nintendo.
