announced that Motorola has introduced two new
mobile handsets with the Opera Mobile browser pre-
installed. Both handsets are next-generation
RAZRs - the highly anticipated upgrades to
Motorola`s iconic handset. Since sales of the RAZR
began in 2004, Motorola has shipped nearly 100
million handsets.
Available in July 2007 in several markets, the
next-generation devices pack cutting-edge features
such as CrystalTalk(TM) technology, up to 2GB of
on-board memory, real-time point-to-point video
and ultra-fast menu navigation and Web browsing
from Opera, all packed into a slimmer, stronger,
sleeker design.
RAZR2 V8 is a GSM (2.5G) handset running Motorola`s
LinuxJava operatingsystem. RAZR2 V9 is 3G HSDPA
handset running Motorola`s P2K operating system.
Both feature the full HTML Opera Mobile Web
browser.
Opera Software is paid per unit sold in accordance
with the software licensing agreement between Opera
and Motorola.
